My name is Sidney Toukonen, I am a pitcher at Tallahassee Community College. I previously played as a freshman season at South Florida State College and took an opportunity at TCC my sophomore year. My freshman season ended as the leading pitcher of strikeouts on our team, pitching 95.1 innings with 65 strikeouts. I spent the summer assisting a former coach conducting Beach Workouts and giving individual pitching lessons. I provided instructions on pitching, throwing and workout drills that involved the sand and water for strengthening and balance. I am consistent in the gym, especially out of season I like to make sure I am staying in shape. My short term goal includes transfering to a university and continuing playing softball. I want to advance my skills and grow as a pitcher and end my college career as the best softball player I can be. I would love the opportunity to further discuss my passion as a pitcher and how my abilities and positive attitude will be an asset to my next team.
My long term goals and career aspirations include obtaining my bachelor's degree in interior design. Opening my own design firm and volunteer assistant coach for a softball program.
