2022 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hello Madison Stalcup here. I am a RHP and I play 1st base. I currently play for Athletics Mercado Jameson-Allen out of Ft. Worth. I am currently home schooled and will be joining a highly competitive home school team from the DFW area. I love the game of softball and have learned it can take me places. I believe I am a great teammate. I play with a smile and have even been given the nickname smiley by more than one team. But I am a competitor at heart, the better the team I'm facing the better I am. Whether in the game or on the bench I cheer for my teammates.
As a pitcher I get a lot of spin on the ball with good movement on a variety of pitches. I induce a lot of infield pop-ups and grounders. in my last 45 innings pitched I allowed 0 walks and had 51 k's. In the Fall of 2021 I threw 48 innings giving up 3 walks and 55 K's
I do not get rattled in a game. My parents taught me early things are going to happen. If I make a bad play or someone hits a home run, I shake it off and go right back at it. I am not afraid to challenge myself or to take on the best of competition. That is what I look forward to.
