Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Skyler Alvarez, I attend Bloomingdale High school located in Florida class of 2025. I started playing softball around 9 years ago and I have fallen in love with the sport and every aspect of it. I am very devoted and hard working on the field and off of it. I am determined to play for a college in Florida. I’m a pitcher and when I’m not pitching I love playing any outfield position. My current gpa is 3.7 unweighted and 5.1 weighted. I love being a student athlete. My current average pitching velocity is 59-61 mph and my highest recorded pitching velocity is 62 mph. I have a fastball, change up, curve ball and a rise. My goal is to find a college that will help me grow to my full potential on and off the field while playing the sport I love!
