Olivia Chapman '23 Recruiting Profile

What makes me a good candidate to play at the next level is I am really driven and highly coachable.  One thing about me that make me stand out, is the fact that I have bi-lateral hearing loss, and wear hearing aids. I have not only had to develop new strategies to play softball physically, but also mentally. I've had to work very hard to get to where I am today. My work ethic and attitude are obvious in my body language. 

I was born and raised in the small town of Buffalo, WV.  Growing up in that small town is where my values come from.  The I am a very loyal and honest person that is supportive to the people around me. 

In addition to softball, I also play volleyball and was the captain of both teams the last 2 years. I was voted MVP for softball the last two seasons, most Christian like for volleyball 2021, and most athletic female the last two years as well. I take pride and work hard in everything I put my mind to.

My goal is to graduate high school, attend a college or university, and God willing, continue to play the sport I love as a college athlete. I would like to get my bachelor's in Elementary Education, and continue from there.
