I am a 5’9, Utility Player with the speed and agility to play anywhere on the field. I have played softball since I was 8 years old and it has always been a major goal of mine to carry my love for the game with me onto a college team. I have been a Varsity starter for both years of high school and earned 1st Team All Region this season. As a player I always give all of my effort to every play, every swing, and especially when cheering on my teammates. I am a strong leader on my travel team (Team Georgia 16U Henning) and we are a big family. When deciding where to go to college, I hope to play at a school based on what I want to study and this is as important to me as the division level of the team. In college, I plan to study biology because I am very passionate about science. During my freshman year of high school, I was part of my school’s selective accelerated science program which made my interest in science grow. Ideally I would like to be part of a program where I would make a big contribution early in my career and I am open to schools of different sizes if this allows me the opportunity to play. I am a dual-sport athlete, playing softball in the fall and running track in the spring. I earned my second varsity letter for track and field this season, along with winning the scholar athlete and the coaches awards for my hard work and dedication. I am one of only two female athletes in my class on course to be a four year letterman in two sports. I am also a leader for our Fellowship of Christian Athletes club, a member of the FLOOD student missions club, and a member of DECA. The main thing to know about me as a player and as a person is I give 100% in everything I do. If I need to improve, I work that much harder to get to where I need to be in school, in sports, and in life.
