Since the young age of twelve when I was introduced to softball, I fell in love with the sport. I have been playing softball for about six years now and still have the biggest passion for playing it. Not only that, but I have been playing for school and recreation teams while keeping up my grades up to this current day. With that in mind, I am currently in line to be the valedictorian of the class of 2017 at Tri-cities High School, which has become possible for me because of my passion for playing softball and my family as my support systems. I have been given the opportunity to play because of my family, my academics, and my abilities which has helped me build my character and interact with others that I can help and encourage. I would love to continue to use this passion to help me further my education and encourage others to do the same with their talents in the future.
