I will be a 2018 grad. I've played softball since I was 6 years old. I started playing travel ball at 8, played in my first ASA Nationals when I was 9 and haven't looked back. This year as a freshman, I started at shortstop every game on Varsity, batted third all season, made 1st team All-Region, and won my high school award for Offensive Player of the Year. I feel at home on the field. I love to compete, push myself and have a great time with my teammates!
As far as college is concerned, I want to go to a D1 school where I can get a top education while playing the sport I love. At this point, I'm most interested in communications/marketing or pre-law, but am open to other possibilities. No matter the subject, I work hard and am meticulous in school assignments. I've even had a teacher or two tell me that I'm "too Type-A" when it comes to projects and other school work.
Outside of school and softball, I am very involved in YoungLife, which is a Christian youth group. I'm also on the JV basketball team. In middle school, I was chosen to the All-County team on both 7th and 8th grade, and won the school Offensive Player of the Year both years! I enjoy anything physical like running, tennis, volleyball and golf. My family loves to compete too and we can often be found playing board games together at home! My older brother is a junior and plays football, basketball and baseball.
I have a strong desire to work hard and win, and I am sure I could be a solid addition to your team!
