Hey Coaches! My name is Sha’nya Lake and I’m class of 2024. I attend Jenkins County High School. I’ve been playing softball all my life and been apart of several softball travel teams. I’m also a 4 year softball and basketball player at Jenkins County High School. My primary position is shortstop, but I can play anywhere. In basketball my primary position is shooting guard but I can play as a guard. As a player I am coachable, disciplined, competitive. As an aggressive shortstop player you can depend on me to stop any ball that is hit to me or balls that near my area that a shortstop player can dive and get. I put in the work everyday to get better cause I want to play at the next level which is the college level .
Academically I’m a A/B student. I take my grades serious cause i’m a great athletic player. I been taking dual enrollment college since my junior year and passed all the classes I have taken so far. I have been a FBLA member for 4 years , a FCCLA member for 4 years, and a part of the Yearbook staff for one year. My junior year I became a Beta Club member and a Rotary Club member .
