My full name is Morgan Renee Rentz, but prefer to be called Morgan or by my last name, Rentz. My love for softball began at a very young age. I began playing competitively with the Recreation Department out of Nahunta, Georgia at the age of 4. I was committed to this organization until I began playing for my middle school and high school team. During the time I played with this team I developed lasting friendships with players from all over Southeast Georgia. This experience allowed me to expand my love for the game, sharpen my competitive edge, and become the leader and player I am today. We won many tournaments but we also took our share of defeats because our coaches believed in building a better player and not just winning trophies.
As I transition through my high school years I will work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I believe my training during the off-season will contribute to my success. Wrestling, grappling, and track and field are some ways that I enjoy to train. These activities combined help with my discipline and strength training. I am also very active in my church youth group where we have participated in mission work around the area I live as well as, Franklin, NC and Chattanooga Tn.
Today I play for the Brantley County High Lady Herons Junior Varsity as a starting runner and utility player. I will graduate in May of 2022, and hopefully play for an amazing college softball team.
This is just a brief synopsis about me, for more information please email or call. I enjoy talking softball and could talk about it all day.
