Hello coaches! My name is Lea Smith, and I am a 2023 prospect from Gwinnett County, GA. Growing up, I have played every sport in the books, and people have always asked me which one was my favorite. Without hesitation, my answer is always softball. I have an unmatched passion, dedication, and love for the game. My versatility, athleticism, passion, resilience, softball IQ, and dedication are what sets me apart from other recruits. I am a quiet leader, often working through actions without expectation of gratification or reward. I am not just passionate about the game, but also serving others, and I always have their best interest at heart. Whether on the field, on the sidelines, or just in life, I will always be my teammates biggest cheerleaders. It is that feeling of being a part of a team and something greater than myself that draws me so strongly to the sport. The softball community is my second family.
