Only being a freshman, heading into my sophomore year, being able to be apart of a state championship winning and undefeated high school softball program is incredible and eye opening. As a student athlete, I feel like I’ve grown in the classroom as well as on the field. Before this past season, I tried out as an 8th grader and unfortunately didn’t make the team. From this experience I feel as though I’ve grown and learned what i’m capable of as far as pushing and bettering myself as a human being and athlete. Something i’ve noticed about myself while playing sports is that i take the game very seriously and when i mess up it gets to me but others can’t tell by how I carry myself and move on into the next play. My goal academically for high school is to graduate with honors and go to college and graduate from my future school with a bachelors and masters degree.
