My goal as a student athlete is to play at a high level of college softball and to be successful in not only my academic career, but my softball career. I want to be a classy and well-rounded student athlete for the college I represent. Softball is not just a game to me, it is a way of life. I want to play the game I love the most and receive my college education. I may not be the tallest girl on the team, but I will always put in 110% effort to better myself and my team. I am always a positive person and team mate on and off the softball field. There are several aspects of me that make me different from other recruits. I work very hard to achieve good grades in all of my honor classes in school, I am also involved in many extracurricular activities that keep me involved with the school. I train and work daily to better my game and to become a top athlete. I understand that if you do not work and over achieve, you will never reach your goals. While academics and athletics are very important, I also feel that my character is unique from other people. Many of my peers recognize that I am a committed athlete, but first and foremost I am a committed Christian. I try to be a well-rounded person and friend to all people. Family is very important to me; I have my blood family and then I have my softball family. I have learned to live by this Bible verse, "Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God will be with you where ever you go." -Joshua 1:9. I feel that my love and drive for the game of softball will put me above and beyond other recruits, and I will contribute to the college softball team that I choose. I am excited and anxious to see the plan that God has for me in my college career in softball.
