My name is Maya Field and I am a catcher from Smyrna, GA. I have been a starter at the Varsity level for four years. I am an aggressive catcher, and despite being a catcher, I have some speed running the bases. In the last year, I have learned to become more of a vocal leader and I try to lead by example.
I would like to attend a school in a Southeastern state so that I am not too far from home, but am open to attending different types of schools in all divisions; a school where I can pursue a degree in the sports medicine field. Financial assistance is very important in my college selection, as my family will have a "need" for financial assistance. Ideally, I would like to play where I could make an immediate impact on the team.
