My long term goal for college, is to obtain a medical degree and become a general surgeon specializing in cardiovascular surgery. I also wish to continue my softball career at the college level. I am very determined to prove myself as a hard working, dedicated, team oriented player. As a lead catcher, I am comfortable behind the plate, and am involved in and anticipate each play. My strength and speed are also showcased as a power hitter. I put the game before my emotions, and encourage my teammates to do their very best. I have played many sports, but found great love for softball and track. In track, I participated as the anchor in the four by one-hundred relay, shot put and discus. Aside from playing multiple sports, my priority is my academic studies. The intensity and organization of playing sports, has taught me that hard work will pay off in my future medical career.
