I look at college as an opportunity to better myself as a student, person, and softball player. I will be an amazing teammate and player for any college softball team. I am always prepared, open to suggestions and coaching, put the work in at home, and all with a smile on my face. What sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to communicate, whether it be talking to the pitcher, or making friends with the umpires, I always know what is going on. I also bring a lot of energy to the team through cheering, talking up players, or even through compliments. This all may seem typical, but I stay true to my word when I say that I can always be seen with a smile. Another thing that sets me aside from other players, catchers specifically, is my love for blocking. Most catchers despise blocking, but it has to be one of my favorite things to do; softball or not. I want to go to college to learn psychology so that I can become a school counselor. School counseling not only is a career that I can thrive in, but it also gives me the option to coach softball for the school. Softball has been a major part of my life from a young age, and I hope to continue my love for the game as a player for my future college team.
