Shaeley Noel '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Shaeley Noel and I am graduating in 2024. I have played softball since I was 9 years old and have loved the game ever since I started playing! My main position is Center Field but I can also pitch. Ever since I started playing softball I HAVE LOVED IT! The friendships I create with teammates, coaches, and just everyone around in the softball community. Playing the game I love and have grown from. My favorite thing about softball though is the feeling you get when I am playing outfield and you can just feel that calmness in your body then all of the sudden all the adrenaline just starts rushing to you and you get so excited about that next pitch. Something different will happen EVERY time the ball is hit and I love that. I am hoping to achieve my goal and play after high school and travel ball is over. Playing college ball is one of the biggest goals I want to achieve so far in life and I can’t wait to get there. I am hard working and very goal oriented. I work hard for positions and try to be the best I can where my coach puts me, even if I have never played that position. I work hard outside of team practices getting practice time on my own. I get straight A’s in school and am determined to do the same through out college. I am coachable and always wanting to get better!  Something that coaches have said makes me stand out is my leadership skills. When my team is playing the field you can always here me whether I am in outfield always yelling the next play, calling the ball, or telling a teammate I have their back and they “got the next one” or if I am sitting the bench I am always on the fence still calling out loud the next play and watching the runners. When my team is playing offense I am always one of the loudest cheerleaders on the team. I am leading cheers, screaming when my teammates have a great at bat, and keeping the positivity going. We all play because of the love of the game so why not keep it positive!! I really hope to achieve my goal of playing at the next level and help others along the way!
