Katelyn Lamm '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a very coachable player that loves the camaraderie between teammates and coaches.  I am competitive in the classroom and on the softball field.  Being part of a team propels me to work harder, to be a leader and to never settle.  As a catcher I have worked hard to learn the game, to learn how to call pitches and to work with my pitchers so they can be the best that they can be. When I was a little girl, I started out playing baseball and I loved playing with the boys.  I was very reluctant to switch over to softball.  I thought softball was going to be boring, boy was I wrong.   You just can't beat the strategy and the fast pace of softball.  Once I made the switch, no other sport could come close to softball, and I truly fell in love with the game.
