March 2022Personal Statement
My name is Ava Landon I will be a 2024 graduate. I play shortstop, pitcher, and catcher for the Lady Extreme 16u traveling softball team. I started playing competitive softball at the age of 10 with the Midwest Lady Tigers, then making the 14u Lady Extreme team. I also play second base, pitcher, and catcher for the ROWVA-Williamsfield softball team.
I'm an all around athlete. I play volleyball and basketball and still squeeze softball workouts in between those. While keeping busy with my sports I keep good grades and slide in a babysitting job when i'm available. When I have a free time I love spending time with my family and friends. I also volunteer by helping/mentoring the younger softball team (middle school 5th-8th graders) at my school.
I love playing softball and hope to continue my passion for softball at the college level while obtaining a degree in what is still undecided.
