Isabella Neiling '22 Recruiting Profile

My main goal, aside from playing with an athletically competitive team, is to be in an academically challenging school that will help me reach my educational and career goals. I want to play softball in college because it has been a big part of my life. I have played softball since I was 7 and the excitement and motivation it gives me is unreal. I work hard no matter where I am in the field, even if I'm sitting one inning I always make sure to support my teammates. Not only does softball drive me to work harder as an athlete, but it also pushes me in my academics. The opportunity and privilege to play comes with hard work as an athlete, but I feel like none of that matters if I am a mediocre student. I take pride in my academics and how I work in the classroom. I am in the top of my class because of the effort I choose to put into my work. I like to work hard and make sure I am always doing my best, no matter what it is.
