Elizabeth "Lizzie" Halstead '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elizabeth Halstead, but my coaches and friends refer to me as Lizzie.  I am currently focusing on softball and putting an abundance of hard work into making myself better.

I will graduate in May of 2019 and currently working on getting an Academic Honors Diploma.  My main goal for college is to receive a higher education, so I can make a future for myself. I would like to play softball in college, but education always comes first.

I am different from other recruits because I am a leader. I will work hard on and off the field and I will be a role model for others. I am very competitive, and I am a team player. I'm willing to do whatever it takes for the team to succeed. While having me on your team I will do all I can to help your college academically and athletically.  I am very serious about what I do but I also like to have fun. Being outgoing is something I do best and I'm not afraid to step up to take charge. Your coaches will like me because I am very coachable and flexible. I have been playing softball for 9 years now, going on 10 and playing a team sport has definitely taught me that as an athlete, everyone has to put their share of work.  I hope you will consider me as an option to your college, I can assure you I will work hard on and off the field.
