Victoria Miller '19 Recruiting Profile

I started playing sports at a younger age. I've always had a love for softball, but I didn't want to quit all the other sports. When I finally had to decide, I knew which ones to choose. My freshman year I made Varsity, and started for both high school teams. My love for softball, my work-ethic, my academics and my leadership all grew. We didn't make it very far for softball my freshman year, but I went into the next season with the attitude that I was going to be the leader and the person to impact the team.

My sophomore year,  we were Conference champions, Sectional Champions, Regional Champions, and I was honored to receive the award of 1st Team All-Conference and All-Area. I am on a travel team for Summit City Thunder for softball. We are competing in competitive tournaments. I am finally getting an outlook on how hard I need to push myself, that no one is going ton hand it to you. I put in a lot of time on and off the field, not only with softball, but also with my academics. My grades are good, I was running a 3.5 GPA in the end of my sophomore year. I know i have what it takes to be a leader on your team, with my leadership skills, work-ethic and character you're looking for as a student athlete.
