Olivia Dickerson '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Olivia Dickerson. I attend Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I am currently a sophomore, who is looking for an opportunity to continue my softball career at the collegiate level. At this point in my life, I am open to attend almost any college. I am looking for a college who will provide to both my academic and athletic needs. I would like to be challenged  athletically and attend a school who will assist me in my athletic career and prepare me for my professional career. I love challenges and competing with myself and others. I am a natural leader, who wants the best for my team. I have a personality filled with leadership skills, positivity, and enthusiasm. I love putting in extra time to work on my skills and improving myself. I have been playing the sport of softball since I was seven years old, and I started playing travel at the age of ten. My freshman year, I started varsity at first base. My hard-work and improvement during that season earned me the Rookie of the Year award. I am excited to see where my career in softball will take me. To be successful in anything you do, you must have perseverance, passion, and the drive to overcome adversities. These qualities will help my drive to be a better player and continue to play onto the next level.
