    Hello, my name is Alyssa Janik! I am eighteen years old and currently a senior at Hobart High School in Hobart, Indiana. Softball has been a part of my life for seven years now, but I have been playing travel softball for five. I am currently playing for a PGF team named NWI Storm Elite '05. I also play on the varsity team for my high school. I generally bat in the middle of the order. I mainly play first base, but I also play third and sometimes outfield.

I am looking to pursue my dream of playing softball at the collegiate level. I'm looking for the right school where I can not only help their program excel in softball, but can also help me achieve my career goal of being a physical therapist. My voice is what makes me different character-wise. I am a vocal leader on and off the field. I always cheer on my teammates because I feel that when we are all fired up, we are at our best. I always make sure to give my all on the field. Not only do I push myself when it comes to athletics, but I also push myself academically. I take all honors classes that also count as college classes. Taking these will also help me to get an honors diploma. I also have a GPA of 4.34 out of 4.0.
