My name is Danielle Jaquay I am the youngest of four children, my goals are to play college softball. I am a pitcher, 1st baseman and a third basemen, as a 10th grader my velocity of my pitches is 60 mph. I have had an interest in softball for as long as i can remember my two older sisters always played, when I was growing up I was always around the sport of softball. A big impact on why I enjoy this sport so much is one of my sisters, she has worked with me and taught me for as long as I remember. While playing this sport I have learned many things, some things I learned through the years would be that you can do anything to put your mind to, another thing I learned and play by would be to always shake it off it will benefit you as well as your team mates. My goals for college is to major in business so that when I graduate I can open up my own hair salon.
I played varsity as a freshman, I was a pitcher for our team and being the only freshman then taking over upperclassmen positions it truly was a learning experience. In the year of being the only underclassman I had learned how to over come adversity, be a leader as well as learning to never give up. I am looking for a college that is best for me athletically and academically, I believe that I could bring more to a team then just my talent, I would also bring my leadership, work ethic. I can't wait to see what I can bring to your team!
