Nadia Villavicencio-Garcia '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Nadia Villavicencio-Garcia. I think I am a good candidate for your team because I am very motivated and passionate about the sport. I enjoy being a part of a team and I work very well with others. I have stepped up as a leader throughout my years on my high school softball team. I have not had the resources to play on a travel team, so it has made me work harder and strive to be even better each season. I am different from other recruits because I rely heavily on my faith to help me stay motivated. I am a team player, and I am very coachable. I love helping other whether that be staying after practice with other girls to get more reps in or helping others stay motivated and encourage them as well. No matter what sport I am playing, I always work hard and try to give my 110% absolute effort. I always remain positive in every situation and push others to work hard as well. I have developed a good student/athlete balance and have learned to manage my time. I am also very passionate about my academics, and I try to make sure I have very good grades.
