Taylor Reddick '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Taylor Reddick. I am a 5'4" utility player from Pendleton, Indiana. I graduate in 2023 and I play for the Indiana Magic Platinum. I am a very passion driven person with high ambitions. Softball has been a huge part of my life and has always allowed me to reach my goals. The impact softball has made in my life is greater than anything I could've imagined. It allowed me to meet new people, develop communication skills, and most importantly pushed me to be my best self. I love learning new things and I'm open to constructive criticism. Playing a failure sport is mentally challenging and having the ability to bounce back is what I believe makes you great. I do my best to support and encourage my teammates while also pushing them to reach their potential.

I'm looking for a university that will continue to support me, push me, and allow me to be myself. A university that will help me reach both my athletic and academic goals is extremally important to me. This past year I have been involved in an Emergency Medical Technician course, and it has lit a fire in me. This class has pushed me beyond my limits, while also opening up doors to new opportunities. I believe softball has taught me skills that have really allowed me to succeed in EMT. Communication is a big part in EMT, I must explain to a patient what I am doing and how it is going to help them. Learning to deal with loss and failure is critical in this profession, and softball has taught me how to bounce back. Finding a university that allows me to thrive on and off the field will help me succeed in the future. I believe I am the type of player who will add value to your school.
