Personal Statement
I am 5"8 senior from Ontario, Canada attending a 5th year at North Park Collegiate Vocational School in Brantford.
I have played competitive softball for 7 years and would like to pursue a college career in the NCAA. I train with Rising Stars Athletics under Erin Forman. I have loved every minute of playing club ball and am looking forward to gaining new experiences in college ball.
I am grateful for softball becoming a year round sport and for it having such an impact on my life. I began playing club ball in 2008-2009 for the Brantford Bobcats and training with Rising Stars. I played with the Bobcats until 2013 and won a silver national title, 4th place ranking, and many provincial medals and championships. I then played for Ancaster Blizzard U18 and proceeded to accomplish an Eastern Canadian Gold Medal and numerous provincial titles.
I competed in many sports throughout my 4 years in highschool including: tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, rugby, hockey, and softball. I was also co-chair of the Athletic Commitee, Link Crew, and Trojan Alumni. I maintained honor roll and an 85%+ overall average in academic ranked classes every year. With playing many sports, I have always held softball and my education as top priority.
At graduation, I received Athlete of the year, a school dedication award "Priam", and honors society. I graduated with a 3.90 GPA.
I look forward to having the opportunity to continue my softball career and furthering my education. My coaches have taught me to prioritize, push myself, and never lose focus of my goals. I always trust the process and am forever thankful for these opportunities in life.
Looking forward to future opportunities.
