Cadence Colborn '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! 

I am Cadence Colborn. I am a right handed first baseman and outfielder. I bat left and love the game of softball! 

I began playing softball as soon as I was able to walk! The game has been in my family for generations and my dad passed his love for the game down to me. I am always around the ball park in the summer and indoor facilities in the winter trying to improve my skills. I am a hard worker when it comes to things I care about. I am a current member at Motion Fitness where I try to get stronger to better my performance in softball. I have put in hours in the cage, the gym, and at the desk to keep my grades high. I always strive to achieve 90s and higher! 

Not only do I play softball, but I also compete in barrel racing and rodeo on my horse Pearl. We enjoy running as fast as we can at barrels and roping calves in the pasture. I have a big agricultural background as well and a big farm that has been in my family for generations. In grade 9 and 10 I played for the volleyball team at school. I don’t play competitively in a club, but I enjoy learning new things and decided to give it a try!

I am a very coachable athlete and strive to be better every practice. I value coaches suggestions and love hearing feedback!
