Personal Statement
“If my mind can conceive it and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it” -Muhammad Ali. My goal for softball is to become the best player in every position I hold. I started off as a tee ball player at the age of 5 and continued up to the age of 8 at Freedom Farm Baseball League. I started my softball journey at the age of 11 at the Junior Baseball League Of Nassau where in my first year I received “Rookie of the Year”. I played softball at my high school, St. John’s College for the past 5 years. I am now a senior and I hold the position of team captain. Additionally, as the years went by, I became better at the sport and got invited to numerous tournaments. I feel that I would make a great candidate for any team because I am responsible, respectful, reliable, ready to learn, determined, confident, smart, and coachable. I would consider myself different from other recruits because of the passion i have for softball. It has always been my dream to play at the collegiate level. In addition, i manage my time to succeed in both sports and academics. My characteristics are that I am loving, caring, supportive, goofy, and an amazing team player. Lastly, as I go through my day-to-day life I always remember the abbreviation “A.R.M”, adaptability, resourcefulness, and motivation.
Adaptability: Allows me to smoothly navigate and excel in all aspects of the field.
Resourcefulness: I am a resourceful player because I am able to adjust to any position I am placed in to perform to the best of my abilities for myself and my team.
Motivation: I am extremely motivated to execute expectations and consistently develop exceptional results on and off the field. Moreover i am able to motivate my teammates.
