Personal Statement
How did I fall in love with softball as a left handed girl
When I was a kid, my family moved from France to Chicago for 2 years. I don't have a lot of memories of Chicago, except for one. My first baseball game. I fell in love with the stadium, the game and the spirit. I knew it was my future.
Back in France, I started playing baseball with my brothers in a team. They were older so they had the opportunity to play in the national team and I followed their steps. To get better, I went in a baseball academy at the age of 14 where I had to leave my family and switched to a softball academy at 16 where I am currently. those two last years I had the possibility to play in the national softball team I play the u16 European championship where I finished 2nd best hitter. I also played the European cup with my softball team (EVRY).
During corona, I had the opportunity to play with in the Netherlands in golden league with Roef, it was a great experience for me.
I knew I had to work hard in country where softball is less famous in order to achieve my American dream and that is what I did for 8 years. I am more than motivated to have the possibility to enter a softball college.
