Personal Statement
My college goals and aspirations revolve around excelling both academically and athletically. I have aspirations to be in the medical field, perhaps as a dentist or chiropractor. As a dedicated softball player, I aim to bring my strong work ethic, team spirit, and leadership skills to your team. My commitment to continuous improvement and my ability to balance challenging academic schoolwork with intense athletic training sets me apart from other candidates. I am driven not only by a passion for the game, but also by a desire to achieve excellence in my studies, making me a well-rounded candidate for your program.
My current coach of the Windsor Wildcats is 75 years of age and has played and coached softball for 60 years. He named me as the most "coachable and athletic young woman" he has ever coached. I come from a very athletic family, with my father playing high-level Canadian hockey, and my mother was an Australian state champion swimmer. If given the opportunity, I will commit to upholding the highest standards of excellence both in the classroom and on the field, representing your University with pride and integrity.
