Personal Statement
A pleasant Good Day/Night,
My name is Iranique Roker. I am 19 years old and a freshman at University of the Bahamas.I have been playing softball for 5 years. I'm 5'6 and my biggest goal is to play softball in college abroad. I want to be able to experience more than what my home country thankfully shows me. As well as experience new teams, new places and meet different people with the same love and passion for softball as I do.Some details about myself are. I am a respectful, an introvert, smart and committed, hardworking. I like to learn new things or ways to better my skills on or off the field. I tend to stay out of the way and speak only when spoken to.
What makes me different from others? My dedication, I can assure you that you cannot find one person more dedicated as I am to achieving and maintaining my goals. I said I wanted to graduate with honours at all of my graduation ceremonies and i did! and I will with college. I said hold more leadership position in grade 12 and grade 11 and I was Vice President in Junior Achievement and House Co-Captain! And now I want to play softball abroad and yes, I will work until this happens.My academics are in line as proven above. I've grown up in a family with academically strong women who believes that work should alway be done first therefore I always strive for 3.0 and above no matter what.
