Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Jada Wolfgang and I have been obsessed with being a collegiate athlete since I was 8! I am currently going in 9th grade and as part of a military family, this means I am at a high school in Okinawa, Japan. I absolutely LOVE softball (I also play golf) and I am currently the starting shortstop for the high school team. My dream is to be a student-athlete at a Division I school. I think I would be a good candidate for your team because I am selfless, humble, hard-working, and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed. I think I am different from other recruits because I understand that the team comes first. Growing up in a military family, I have played softball since I was 8 years old and played on travel teams since then in 3 states and now 2 countries, which has taught me that no one person alone is as good as the team. The values that military life has instilled in me are things like integrity, service, excellence, work ethic, teamwork, and respect. I have always had to live within high standards in academic achievement and community involvement which I believe has set a strong foundation for me to be a great student-athlete at a Division I school.
