Personal Statement

I am Katrina Santos and I am a high school senior at Saint Pedro Poveda College. I have been playing for 5 years now, and I have been playing for my high school's varsity team since freshman year and the International Little League Association of Manila (ILLAM) since 2013. A truly dedicated player to the game is who I am and I strive to continue improving my game each time I step on the field. Aside from my academics, extra-curricular activities and team practices, I make sure to have at least 2 private training sessions each week.

What I can bring to the team is a strong drive to improve and win meanwhile, an attitude that continues to stay positive and the heart to keep going while enjoying the game with my fellow teammates and coaches.  A definite promise to work hard and play hard at the same time.

When it comes to my choice of universities/colleges, I am very open to any school. I hope to find a college/university that fits me best no matter the school size or location. A school with a generous amount of financial aid/scholarship would be great too. As long as I get to acquire a great education and the chance to play college ball, I would be very happy. I plan to major in either of the fields mentioned: Communications, International Relations or Forensics.

Overall, I hope to be able to make an impact- both on and off the field. Thank you!
