Playing softball has made a big influence on what makes me the person I am today. Playing softball has not only taught me how to physically play the game, but also many life lessons that that will make me a successful adult. It has taught me how to collaborate with other people to achieve a goal. I not only have to collaborate with my teammates to make plays, but also to ensure that every player on the team knows that she can depend on the whole team and myself, no matter the situation, on and off of the softball field. Softball has taught me that everyone is bound to make a mistake, but it is the players that look at the positives and learn from their mistakes that are successful. Softball has taught me that being a great player is not a perfect player, but a player who gives a perfect effort every pitch, no matter what the scoreboard says.
