I have been playing softball for as long as I can remember. Being a little kid on the huge field hitting off a tee, I never knew a game would have such a big impact on my life. Softball has changed me for the better, in more ways than I ever thought possible. For instance, it has made me a better leader and teammate on and off the field. As a military child I have moved around quite a bit. I have lived, gone to school and played softball in California, Mississippi, Virginia and Iowa. I have been coached by some very good coaches and played with some great girls along the way. Softball enabled me to meet new friends with common interests each place i've been. It has been the one constant that has been with me at each location, other than my parents and older brother. I strive to get better each week. My goal is to play softball at the collegiate level to make my parents, coaches and myself proud.
