I’ve been playing softball since I was little, and it has always felt like therapy for me. When I’m on the field or at the plate, everything else fades away. I’m focused only on what’s happening in the moment—where the ball will go and how I’ll respond when it comes my way. I push myself to the limit, always striving to give my best, not just physically but also mentally. A strong, positive mindset is crucial, and I do my utmost to keep my team’s energy high, knowing how much one negative attitude can affect the entire group.
Just like on the field, I push myself in school. I started public school when I was 16 before switching to online schooling, and now, for my senior year, I attend Shenandoah High School. As I prepare for college, I’m excited to challenge myself academically, just as I do in softball. I’m eager to continue playing at the college level, where I know I’ll grow both as an athlete and a student. I can’t wait to learn and thrive, on the field and off.
