Natalie Rasmussen '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was in 5th grade. Before that I played Little League baseball for six years because my brother was at that field and the scheduling was easier for my family. I am a very competitive athlete. As the youngest of five I was always racing to keep up and get better. 

I am now a senior at north high school. I made the varsity softball team at the end of my 8th grade year. I also play basketball and track. My sophomore year i made 1st team all conference for catching. My junior year i made honorable mention for basketball. I also made 1st team all conference for catching my junior year. 

I want to further my softball career into college. Softball is my favorite sport and i work very hard to train my body and mind to be able to perform at the next level.

In the classroom I work hard and like to participate in group work and discussions. I like math and science classes and I currently have a 3.7 gpa. 

In my free time I volunteer as a unified partner for Special Olympics. My sister is an athlete and I have played many sports helping special needs athletes participate in team sports.  I have played basketball, soccer, bowling, swimming and softball.  I do this year after year because playing sports and helping the athletes learn how to play is fun. I also have a job. I work mainly on the weekends since i have practice every week day after school. Having a job in high school teaches me to be responsible and polite.
