Breckin Geiser '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Breckin Geiser. I am going to be a   senior at Urbandale high school ; located in Des Moines, IA. After doing research and exploring my options I have become very interested in the  sociology, law, psychology, and political science. As a student athlete grades are very important to me so ultimately my decision to play softball in college would be greatly influenced by the schools that provide the highest level of education. The main reason for this personal statement would be for me to share my love of softball. I have been playing the game since I was five years old. As I’ve gone through the game I have met amazing teammates, coaches, and families that have provided me with support and fueled my love of the game. Currently my goal is to play softball at the next level. As I’ve Ive been able to attend college camps I have realized that no matter the division of the school there is great coaching everywhere. Within the game itself I have learned how to deal with success and failure. Not only has this helped me in softball but also in the game of life. Dealing with mental frustration and amazing highs is still something that I strive to keep learning. Softball in my opinion is a never ending roller coaster with great people, emotions, and competition. I love this game and I work hard to be the best player I can be. This game challenges me to be a better person and I would love to continue that at the next level.
