I am deeply passionate and dedicated to sports and it is my dream to play at the collegiate level. I play softball, basketball and I throw for track. I am extremely competitive in everything I do and am a leader on and off the field. I have a great work ethic and am always pushing myself and my teammates to the next level. I fell in love with softball when I was four, and it has been my passion ever since.
I earned a varsity letter in softball my 8th grade year and each year since. My freshman year I earned first team all-WaMaC Conference, and Third team All-State in 3A. My sophomore year I caught all 231 innings and threw out 12 runners stealing. As a Junior, I achieved a .500 batting average and was named first team All-WaMaC Conference and Second team All-State. I earned 3 varsity letters for basketball and received WaMaC Recognition my junior year. I also earned my second varsity letter in track. I won the WaMaC Conference meet in shot put, placed 2nd at Districts, and placed 17th at State in 3A. I have had to be dedicated and work very hard to reach goals I've set for myself in these sports, and I have learned much from both successes and struggles.
Growing up on a farm has taught me toughness, perseverance, and most of all a great work ethic. My family supports me in everything I do, and I am extremely grateful to them. I definitely would not be the person I am today without them. Softball has taught me so many life lessons including failure, adaptability and perseverance. I am forever grateful to this sport, and I am so excited to continue chasing my dream!
