I am transferring from Cleveland State University.
My dream is to play college softball. I feel I would be an amazing candidate for any team because I strive to be the best in anything I do, and I feel I am very coachable and will do anything to help improve the team. I have been trained by hitting coaches on not only regular hitting, but bunting and slapping as I am left handed and have speed. What makes me different from other recruits; is that I am willing to do what I need to in order to become better, and to be able to help the team in any way possible. I am a very hard worker and can pick up on things extremely fast. I have been informed by my coaches that one of my best attributes is that I am very coachable. I am able to fix things very fast to what the coach would like me to be able to do. In athletics; I know my speed and being left handed can really be a crucial part of helping my team. Being a good base runner also gives me more opportunities on the bases. My speed helps greatly in the outfield and also being able to read where the ball is going, and then knowing exactly where I am going to throw the ball. I have an outstanding and accurate arm in the outfield which also helps with tracking down a ball very fast, and being able to throw it accurately where the ball needs to be thrown. When I am at first base, I put the ball before my body. I do whatever possible to stop the ball, making sure that the runner is either out or can not advance to the next base. Academically I have a 4.0 which I work very hard to maintain, and I am 1st in my class of 127. I know keeping up on grades is very important, and I intend to work as hard as I can to be able to obtain the grades necessary. Having the work ethic and drive I do, I feel like I would be a great candidate for any team.
