HI, I am a 18 year old senior from Hays, Kansas and my future college goals and aspirations are to find a college that wants me for my skills, my playing abilities, my hard work, my academics, and have the field of study that I want to go into. I’m a very flexible softball player. I also am willing to play any position, I started traveling softball in 4th grade and was a third basemen and catcher, then I was second base, and pitcher. From 2018-2022 I’ve been a shortstop, second base, and a catcher. If I get to play I’m always willing to play wherever they want me even if that means outfield. I make a good candidate for a team by hard working, determined, focused, a good teammate, my good academics, and staying positive. I am different from other recruits in athletics because I am willing to do anything for the team and put the team first for the best of what the team needs, and I am the teammate to pick up people when they are down. I am different then the recruits in academics because even though I may not get a good grade or do as good as I want to do, I still have in my mindset that if I tried and worked hard for the outcome that its okay.
My academics aren't bad and not perfect but trying is what really matters in the mindset I have. I am willing to be better, but always have my teams back, and work hard at academics no matter what. I’m involved in many other things as well like volleyball, soccer, and a member of my church. Softball has always had my heart and has been more important to me then soccer and volleyball. Even when I’m playing my other sports I still try and work with hitting and fielding when I’m not in softball season. The softball field has always been a home to me and helps me escape any stress or worries. I hit and field in the evenings in my free time to get extra work in. I play summer ball and fall ball for softball and I try to never miss a season. Softball has really put a large impact into my life and I’m very thankful for it and I want to keep pushing myself in the sport that makes me always fight and not give up!
