Sydney Wiard skil...Personal Statement
My name is Sydney Wiard. I am a Senior at Franklin County High School in Frankfort, Kentucky. This upcoming Spring will kick-start my 8th season playing at the high school level, and my 7th Varsity season. I have been successful in playing several positions including Shortstop, 2nd and 3rd base but my strongest position is Catcher, which will be my starting position this year. I have been playing on a highly competitive travel team for the last two summers, with a World Series win this year. I am a good student and have been successful in the classroom as well as on the field. I serve as a leader on and off the field. I aspire to attend college after high school and study athletic training. I hope to further my career in softball by playing at the collegiate level.
