Have you ever been told you couldn't do something? I have! I was told at a young age "Girls can't play baseball!". This was a driving force that propelled me to push myself to do better and show those boys. Those boys might have been right "Girls can't play baseball" but I definitely love playing softball. My dad has always instilled into me that I can do anything that I set my mind, body, and soul too.
Recognizing my passion and love for this game, I began to research what makes a great ball player. This has lead me to learn how to bring a unique culmination of personal drive and leadership. I strive to be the best that I can be whether that is in academics or athletics. I feel that every scenario brings a chance to improve. Yes, even when something is done correctly, there may be a possibility to do it more efficiently or better. The enjoyment given through comrade of the other athletes, I bring a willingness to encourage them whether they are on or off the ballfield. Softball to me is away that I can improve my personal communication, support, and abilities to help others.
