Karleigh (K.G.) Walker '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karleigh Walker.  I go by K.G.  I am a 2024 graduate at McCracken County High School.  I play travel ball on the Fury Platinum X-Brown Team.  I am a Catcher/1b/3b.  

My dream is to play college softball.  I love the game.  I love what it has taught me about myself and life.  It has taught me how to be relied on by others and how to rely on others.  It has taught me determination, hard work, sportsmanship, and how to work for something I want.  I absolutely love softball.  I look forward to each time I can play the game or practice.  I enjoy working to get better and seeing the end results.  

The game of softball has provided me with so many opportunities to travel the country, meet and make several new friends.  I am grateful to my parents and the sacrifices that they have made and continue to make for me to be able to reach and live my dreams.  I do not take that for granted.

When I am on the field with my teammates I know that there isn't anything I cannot do or accomplish.  I carry that into the classroom and into life.  

I have had so many people help me get to where I am today.  I cannot wait to be that person for someone else one day.
