Softball has taught me leadership, communication, team bonding, and being a better person overall. It has also taught me to always find the positive in things and be encouraging to my fellow teammates. While also playing softball, I earned my black belt in martial arts through hard work, discipline and failures. Being a co-captain on my travel ball team, I try to bring those strengths when I am on the field, and in the batting cages, whether it is during game time or practicing. Know that your limits are endless; it depends on how determined you are to reach them.
My eagerness to become a better athlete for my team is what makes me a coachable player. It also helps me to be adaptable to play wherever I am needed. I have had the amazing opportunity to play varsity my Freshman year, mostly, as catcher for an LSU commit. My high school team, Airline High School, Lady Vikings, made it to State Runner-Up.
I have played 3rd, 2nd, center field, catcher, and most recently shortstop throughout my three years in high school. During my travel ball seasons, I play outfield and catcher. I look forward to continuous growth as a student-athlete and leader.
