Kaydence Gautreaux '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, I am Kaydence Gautreaux I play for Breaux Bridge High School Lady Tigers. I play 3rd base on varsity. I am goal oriented and I hold high standards for myself. The field has always been a place of confidence for me. I'm from a small town in Louisiana where most people don't make it past high school softball but I wanna be one of those few people that do make it. I always look on the brighter side of things like ok I made a mistake but what did i just learn from that mistake and what can I do to prevent that from happening again. When I was little I would just play rec ball nothing to serious but as I got older I started to grow more love for the sport. I never played on a select team or had extra help in certain areas I would just watch college games and see how they were playing and try to do the same thing. It wasn't until I got to high school when I learned how to properly swing the bat how to properly field and throw a ball. I can say I picked up on it fast. I am not the best player out there but I do have the potential to be. It  would be an honor to have the opportunity to play softball in college and even if I don't make I would at least have tried which some people don't.
