My name's Amber Landry and my life has been softball since I was five years old. I'm a catcher for Ponchatoula High School and a catcher/third baseman for the Louisiana Patriots. I'm a base hitting kind of girl that hates to strike out and I would rather sacrifice an out for my team to score any day, whether it's off a bunt or pop fly but I do like to throw some home runs in there too. I love to get a good day of practicing and hard work in before those big games & I try to play each game as if it was my last. I've had my ups and downs, but when it comes down to softball I have no regrets. My goal is to attend college and graduate with a degree in Kinesiology, while playing softball for that college. I would love to become a professional softball player while working toward my future career. Softball has made me the person I am today and I can't see myself not playing the game. I've learned and done so much with softball and can't wait to see what my future holds.
