August 2017Personal Statement
I am a 5’8” softball outfielder from Rayne, LA and will graduate in the 2018 class and ended my junior year with a 3.5 GPA. I have started on the Rayne High school varsity team for 2 years and earned Honorable Mention 2nd team all-district this season. I have been playing travel ball for the last 4 years and have been with my current team for the last year and a half.
I am looking for a college where I can major in kinesiology and play softball. I am leaning toward becoming a physical therapist or sports trainer, and I am also thinking along the lines of nursing or EMT. I am open to all divisions. I would love to play somewhere close to home but I am also willing to venture out. My goal for college is to first off succeed academically, then continue my dream of playing college softball and have an impact on the team.
