I am committed to practicing and competing at a high level and my goal is to play at a collegiate level. I know that committing to playing softball in college takes a lot of hard work and dedication and I am ready to follow that path.
I am a team leader and lead by example, my teammates and coaches are important to me and the success of the team is always first in my mind. Always encouraging, promoting and supporting a positive attitude on and off the field. I am coachable and strive to be the most committed and hardest working player on the field.
I currently have landed in the role of starting catcher for my high school team. I am normally the starting 3rd baseman. Coach approached me and asked if I would be willing to take on the challenge and give it a try. I agreed knowing our team needed to fill this position with a solid player and coach had the belief that I could handle it. We are currently 3rd going into the Southern Maine playoffs next week. I will continue to strive to make this position my own and do whatever it takes to help my team.
In the classroom I strive to maintain a high GPA. I have volunteered at the local level to help with softball camps to provide young future players the skills necessary to strive in their skills and knowledge of softball.
